Cold Brew Coffee
For a decent Cold Brew Coffee, I prefer imported Cardamom flavored Arabic Coffee. Thanks to all my Arabic friends. In this case, I choose the contemplative style of preparation with the Dripster.
When preparing Cold Brew Coffee for a cocktail, I'll go with a pragmatic approach using the French Press.
In all cases, it's worth using filtered water only and investing in a high quality coarsely ground coffee.
In a French press, combine 15 tablespoons of coffee and 500 ml of water at room temperature. Stir well and let stand for approximately 17 hours. Then plunge the strainer to separate the ground coffee. Pour into a bottle with an airtight lid and store for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Mix well before use.
