Bee's Gees
This cocktail needs a little preparation for the syrup.
Ingredients:
4.5 cl Sloe Gin
1.5 cl Lemon Juice
1.5 cl Honey Syrup
Champagne to top
1 Lemon Wedge
Preparation:
Prepare the honey syrup one day in advance. Mix 100 ml of honey with 100 ml water over medium heat. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved. Let cool down and strain the syrup into an airtight bottle. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
For the cocktail itself, freshly squeeze one half of a lemon. Give sloe gin, lemon juice, honey syrup and plenty of ice cubes into a shaker. Shake sturdily for about 20 seconds and double strain into a Wine glass. Top with Champagne and decorate with a lemon wedge.
TIP: Pure honey will not dissolve nicely in this cocktail like it does in the Bee's Knees.
